Ascent through the Clouds

Made with Blender, rendered with Cycles.

This was a very simple, yet extremely resource intensive scene (16GB VRAM wasn’t enough to render without tiling). I set the transmission and volume light path bounces to 32 in order to get good results. The clouds are free VDBs from here.
